PriceTravel Holding reaffirms its commitment to tourism promotion by connecting the Dominican Republic with travelers from around the world. This strong collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism celebrates another year of joint efforts focused on positioning the Caribbean country as one of the most attractive and competitive destinations internationally.
For the third consecutive year, PriceTravel Holding participated in the Trade Show organized by the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism— a key event that brings together leading business partners and service providers to strengthen alliances, close deals, and expand tourism offerings.
Thanks to its global distribution model, PriceTravel Holding not only facilitates the arrival of visitors from Latin America, but also from other strategic markets worldwide. Through its partnerships with airlines and hotel chains, the company continues to play a key role in the international promotion of the Dominican Republic.
Over the past year, there has been outstanding growth in the number of travelers visiting the destination, driven by a robust promotional campaign strategy across its various business units.
The Dominican Republic also had a prominent presence in the roadshows organized by PriceTravel Holding through its B2B Retail unit, PriceAgencies. During these events, held in various cities across Mexico, the destination showcased its latest updates and tourist attractions. Before more than 1,500 travel agents, the Ministry of Tourism strengthened the country’s positioning, emphasizing the importance of training travel professionals and creating direct connections with those who drive sales daily.
Carolina Pérez, Director of the Dominican Republic’s Tourism Promotion Office, stated: “The alliance with PriceTravel Holding is strategic for promoting the Dominican Republic, especially in key markets like Mexico and Colombia. Through events like the roadshows organized by PriceAgencies, we’ve connected directly with over 2,500 travel agents, strengthening their knowledge of our country’s rich and diverse tourism offerings. This collaboration not only drives sales but also reinforces our position as a leading destination in the region. The Dominican Republic truly has it all—and thanks to efforts like these, more and more Latin American travelers are discovering it.”
In line with these actions, PriceTravel Holding recently participated in DATE 2025, one of the Dominican Republic’s most important tourism trade fairs. During the event, the company honored the top-selling hotels across its business units with the Key Partner in Destination award, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening strategic commercial relationships that drive the country’s tourism development.
Additionally, the company took part in the “Outlet Viaja y Vuela” event with its brand PriceTravel.com, with a strong presence and exclusive promotions that captured the attention of attendees. As a result, Punta Cana emerged as one of the most popular destinations among participants, solidifying its relevance within the travel offering and reinforcing PriceTravel Holding’s commitment to supporting high-demand destinations.
PriceTravel Holding offers a highly competitive portfolio in the Dominican Republic, with more than 150 available hotels and a diverse range of products covering all travel segments. This is further enhanced by unique air connectivity, supported by strategic alliances with airlines such as Wingo and Arajet. In addition, Aeroméxico has announced increased flight frequencies to the destination, significantly expanding travel options from various markets. This combination of product and connectivity is key to further strengthening the Dominican Republic’s positioning as one of the top destinations in the region.
“We are proud to continue building this relationship with the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism. Our vision is to remain a trusted strategic partner, bringing more travelers from around the world to discover a destination that truly has it all,” said Rafael Durand, COO of PriceTravel Holding.
This commitment was reaffirmed earlier this year during the third Trade Show held in Miami, led by Tourism Minister David Collado, where both parties signed a renewed collaboration agreement to continue developing joint initiatives that enhance the country’s international positioning.
Durand added: “We congratulate Minister David Collado and his entire team for their professionalism, dedication, and strategic vision. Thanks to their willingness to work hand in hand with the private sector, our alliance has grown stronger and delivered excellent results. It’s a pleasure to work with a destination that understands the value of tourism promotion and takes concrete actions to welcome more travelers.”
The company will continue investing in technology to develop increasingly robust and scalable platforms that enhance the efficiency of its distribution and tourism promotion strategies. This will allow more destinations—like the Dominican Republic—to trust PriceTravel Holding as a key partner in attracting travelers from across the globe, expanding their global reach and making a real impact on international tourism growth.
